Inline Manufacturing

The following products are suitable for high volume, high speed inline manufacturing processes numbering 1,000 parts or more per day. If you are interested in a fully integrated solution, please contact us  for a consultation or a referral to an experienced TherMark materials integrator. Even if you do not see exactly what you need on this page, we will be happy to work with you in developing an appropriate formula for your unique application, so please contact us .
Pad printing inks

TherMark’s pad printing ink contains special chemicals which make it compatible with the pad printing process. In a pad printing solution a very consistent layer of ink is applied exactly where the laser mark is required. This limits product waste, minimizes the impact of coat thickness variation, and speeds drying time. Excess ink can be easily removed using a safe cleaning solvent. Pad printing is an economical process which yields a quick printing cycle (5-10 seconds), making it ideal for inline manufacturing. Pad printing ink is currently available for making black marks on plastic. For more detail on the product, please see the link below.

If you have a medium to high volume marking job and are interested in a pad printing formulation for metal, glass, or ceramic, please contact us .

High speed non-adhesive tapes

TherMark’s high speed tapes have been specially developed for integration into extremely high volume, high speed processes such as marking automotive parts & glass and pharmaceutical ampoules. The tapes leave minimal residue, facilitating an easily automatable cleaning process. As the high speed tapes are non-adhesive, they typically require some sort of automatic application system. High speed tapes are currently available for making black marks on glass, or ceramic. For more detail on the products, please see the link below.

Liquid/paste inks for industrial spraying

All of TherMark’s liquid and paste inks can be purchased in larger reduced cost quantities and dilutedfor use in an industrial spraying process. When implementing an industrial spraying solution adequate fume extraction should be used to protect operators and agitation equipment should be used to prevent the separation of pigments in the TherMark laser marking ink. An industrial spraying system should also be optimized to ensure ink is applied with a consistent coat thickness. This cost effect method of delivering TherMark laser marking inks is currently available for making black marks on metal, glass, ceramic and plastic. For more detail on these products, please visit the product page for any of our liquid/paste inks.
